panelesA molecular panel is a tool that allows us to detect mutations in multiple genes simultaneously, reducing response time and increasing detection sensitivity through the use of the maximum genetic sequencing technology available worldwide: Next Generation Sequencing (Ion Torrent). Molecular panels are being incorporated quickly into clinical practice and offer an alternative to the classical techniques of genetic and molecular diagnosis.

Diagnostic techniques are continually evolving, especially those that relate to molecular studies, which increases the ability to identify mutations in the genome. This greatly facilitates the confirmation of the diagnosis of diseases. With Sequencing Next Generation – Ion Torrent – we are able to develop panels of biomarkers that provide additional information about the different tumor profiles through the detection of somatic and germ mutations along the hundreds “hot spots” (HotSpots) present in tumor genome.
